Koca Wen

The Insider’s Insider

Although she was born in Taipei, Koca Wen is a true international insider. Inspiration is her drive, and it’s lead her through Shanghai, Bali, Tokyo and Ibiza as a resident, but for now she’s settled in Barcelona. She’s shaking things up on the scene - expect her to be at the helm of morning dance parties, movie screenings, salon discussions and foodie events. Keep an eye on her Instagram to find out what she’s working on next.

Koca's Top Tips:

Lolita Taperia is a favourite of mine because of Joan and his staff. He’s a techno lover, and you can expect to find turntables in the corner, and a recognisable DJ or two hanging out. Of course, the food is great - don’t miss the salmon with greek honey.

Try Bobby Free for speakeasy vibes - you’ll need a password (stay up to date on your barber shop trivia in order to guess it) and a cheeky conversation with the bouncer to get in. But it’s worth it once you’re inside for the cocktails and live music alone.

If you’re after some dancing gear for DC-10 - try Aleluya. They stock men’s and women’s clothing from brands like Army of Me and Roggykei. And they have all my favourite shades of black!
