Francisco Aveledo

Graphic Designer and Entrepreneur

Originally from Venezuela, Francisco came to Europe in 2000, and lived in Barcelona for over a decade before migrating to Vilanova i La Geltru, next to Sitges. He started off as a graphic designer, but now he runs a home decor business in the town, with many of the products reflecting Sitges life.

Francisco’s Top Tips

  • Sitges is quite small and can be touristy, so I’d recommend a visit off-season to see what it’s really like.
  • As Barcelona is so near, make sure that if you come and stay in Sitges you make the trip to Barcelona, and vice versa! It’s really well connected.
  • Try a walk along the coast to Vilanova i La Geltru (where I live). There are some great spots to bathe along the way, and Vilanova has better beaches than Sitges.
