Debbie Stephens

Debbie bought a house here in 2015 with her husband. She works for an emerging London loungewear brand called Mrs. Miller Stockings, overseeing all production for the company, from photoshoots to manufacturing. She jets back to London from time to time for meetings, but most of the time she’s soaking up the vibes in Sitges.

Debbie’s Top Tips

  • Go to Playa del Muerto, which translates to beach of the dead. Years ago, to access this beach, people used to walk along a train track through a tunnel – sometimes getting hit by a train! Hence the name of the beach.
  • Try Xato, a typical Catalan dish. It's a perfect spring/summer salad with salted cod. And make sure you check out El Vivero. It’s the best spot to relax with a glass of wine.
  • Two dates to note: head to Sitges for carnival, which is the last Thursday before Lent, and if you like to party, don’t miss Gay Pride.
