Cristina Ruiz Montesinos

Unofficial Madrileña and writer at vogue.es

Seville-born but having lived in Madrid for as long as she can remember, Christina takes life’s pleasures seriously – so much so that writing about the good life is her day job and her hobby, as the author of My Little Pleaschhures Blog

Cristina's Top Tips:

  1. Detana, for their vast selection of handmade lamps. The staff are great – they’ll not only help you with your selection, but if it’s a personalised order you’re after, they really know their stuff.
  2. I love the underground restaurant Camoatí, not only for its Italian/Argentine cuisine and decidedly homely menu but also for its relaxed and almost bohemian atmosphere. Make sure to order the entraña de ternera (beef entails).
  3. Rue Vintage 74 is an amazing online décor shop. However, on the first weekend of every month, they open their doors to the showroom.
