Clerkenwell Boy

Gourmand, Instagrammer and full-time foodie

With praise from multiple publications such as Condé Nast Traveller, BBC, Gourmet Traveller, Guardian and The Observer (to name but a few), and his recent crowning as food editor of @London, Clerkenwell Boy is undoubtedly London’s top foodie. Add to that his loyal fanbase of over 130,000 followers, and this anonymous social media whiz, is the one to follow for your fill of London.

Clerkenwell's Top Tips:

  1. The Quality Chop House A classic wine bar and dining room in Clerkenwell serving up perfectly executed British-inspired dishes. Make sure to order from the specials board, and don’t forget THOSE confit potatoes. Check out the cute general store and butchers next door (also owned by the restaurant).
  2. Dishoom is a Bombay-style café, which fuses Indian dishes with British ingredients and recipes. A perfect brunch spot, go for the bacon and egg naan with an extra side of chopped green chillies. Log into the free Chaifi (Dishoom’s WiFi) and sip on bottomless chai tea.
  3. Tucked away off Arnold Circus in a converted old school’s bike shed in Shoreditch, Rochelle Canteen is the perfect place for a relaxed and sunny alfresco lunch. They make up for not having an alcohol license by having a generous BYOB (bring your own bottle) policy. Make sure to call ahead and reserve a table, it can get busy and they are only open for lunch.
