Terrazza Triennale

Get up to Terrazza della Triennale on a clear day to take in the evolving skyline

Milan’s skyline has changed drastically over the past five years: from the dominant Duomo to brand new skyscrapers representing the city’s evolution since it hosted its second-ever exposition in 2015. The Terrazza’s glass building was added onto the Triennale Design and Art Museum to coincide with the Expo, but it’s still a relatively unknown spot. Michelin-starred chef Stefano Cerveni has given traditional dishes a modern twist, such as homemade ravioli with parsley and calvisius caviar, or swordfish carpaccio with confit tomatoes and ricotta. Grab a table and take in the panoramic views before the word really gets out!

Top tip:

Plan to be up on the roof for sunset for a super-dramatic aperitivo, and be sure to put the mixologists through their paces – they really know their stuff.
