The Clove Club does Britalian plates

The Clove Club was always going to be a difficult act to follow, but chef-owner Isaac McHale has done it again with Luca. The premise is Italian flavours with produce sourced largely from the British Isles; think mussels and chard on toast, spaghettini with Morecambe Bay shrimp and Cornish monkfish with caponata. For lighter bites (and a drink from the stellar wine list), take a seat at the bar with a hybrid plate of British and Italian salumi.

Top tip:

When you book, ask for the the corner table in the dining room to get a bird’s eye view.
