Little Havana

The real deal Cuban

To understand Miami’s truly multicultural slant (or simply for a bit of culture shock) head down to Calle Ocho, Little Havana’s main artery. This hopping street may be just west of downtown, but Cuban culture is king, with restaurants, art galleries, and fruit stands all humming to the sound of salsa and the twin aromas of coffee and cigars.

Top tip:

Head to La Ventanita (little window) at famed Cuban joint Versailles and order a cortadito, a syrupy mini-coffee that packs a serious punch.
