La Bien Aparecida

Cantabrian flavours with a Scandi touch

Hidden in the heart of Milla de Oro, the airy and relaxed La Bien Aparecida stands out from the plethora of restaurants and bars that line the small street of Callejón de Puigcerdá. Backed by Paco Quirós, the same entrepreneur behind the equally successful restaurants Cañadio and La Maruca, it may be designed with a Scandinavian touch – light pine, wood and cream tones – but the menu is all about Cantabrian flavours with dishes such as Santoña anchovies.

Top tip:

The rabbit tails with Santoña anchovies are unforgettable, but if it's a hot day, the Angelica's potato salad or the turbot are a must.
