Ever-popular innovative Indian

After migrating from its original (and miniature) Brixton home to Soho, Kricket has only become more popular; queues regularly form out the door for their modern Indian small plates. It’s Indian with a British twist (hence the name): samphire pakoras, Cornish crab meen moilee, wood pigeon with girolles, fresh peas and pumpkin chutney. As per usual, this is a no-reservations restaurant, so make sure you arrive early, or be prepared to wait.

Top tip:

Even if you’re not usually a veg lover, order the pumpkin with makhani sauce.
