Frenchie (Covent Garden)

Don’t be fooled by the name, this is French with a British twist

After cooking at the Savoy, Mandarin Oriental and Fifteen, Gregory Marchand has made his way back across the channel as his Rue Du Nil stalwart Frenchie lands in Covent Garden – and despite its name, the menu reflects Marchand’s travels between London and Paris. Bacon scones and pork crackling meet foie gras, Laguiole cheese meets cornish sea bass: the menu is small but perfectly formed.

Top tip:

We say go for the five- course tasting menu (with wine pairing) to get a great overview of the menu.
