Chiltern Firehouse

Glitzy London hotspot

Since opening in 2014, Chiltern Firehouse has been attracting the jet-set crowd from supermodels to actors and aristos – if the walls could talk – and the atmosphere twinkles with mischief. The food by Michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes is American inspired (be sure to order the crab doughnuts) and best enjoyed from the far left semi-circular booth, slightly raised and skewered by the original fireman's pole, perfect for people watching.

Top tip:

Post-dinner cocktails should be had in the invite-only Ladder Shed. Open to the public before 9pm, after 9pm you’ll have to blag it. Dining at the restaurant does not guarantee entry either.
