Authentic tapas in London

With three branches and a Michelin star under its belt, queues form early for their pimientos de padrón, tortillas, salt cod fritters and morcilla. In all three restaurants, counter dining is de rigueur (following the famous Cal Pep in Barcelona), so pull up a stool, order one of everything and make your way through the highly edited wine list of lesser-known Spanish producers.

Top tip:

The egalitarian, no reservations policy means you should get there early, for opening, or leave plenty of time if you want to catch last orders. If you do get stuck in the line, don’t worry. Drinks and snacks are jovially dished up for those who wait. Viva España.
