Madrid’s elite escape to Brazil
Amazónico is the most hyped place to eat in Madrid right now. Headed up by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco (Ten con Ten, El Paraguas and Ultramarinos Quintin), this is where Madrid’s elite go to dine – where the interior is out of this world (think vines, peacocks and pineapples) and the food as good as it is expensive. The vibe? An exotic Brazilian bossa nova party with a menu to match: espeto malagueño, tandoori grill, Argentinian grill, Brazilian rodizio and a surprising Japanese bar which offers carabinero shrimp yarikahua and tuna poké.
Head downstairs to the newly opened jazz club, kitted out by the celebrated designer Lázaro Rosa Violán.
