Under construction but great

I made reservations when this was the Hard Rock Hotel but it was in the process of being changed to Hotel Reina Victoria when we actually got there.
There was a lot of construction so much of the place was not open and dusty from all the workers but it was still a great experience.
The entire staff was so friendly, especially the guys who stood outside the hotel and greeted you.
The front desk staff upgraded our rooms and gave us a complementary breakfast delivered to our room to compensate for the construction.
The rooms were very modern and the bathrooms and showers were great!
The Plaza de Santa Ana location is very convenient and the taxi from the airport was 35 euros at night and 25 euros during the day.
I don't know how it will be when it is completely opened in late October but if it is anything like what I just experienced, I would definitely go back!
